Product Owner / Business Analyst

You’re a systems thinker, you’re the one who shops with a list and always plans ahead. You are almost obsessive when it comes to attention to detail and thoroughly understand the inherent butterfly effect of moving parts within software products. You have a natural understanding of system architecture and a solid grasp on the host of interdependent technologies that drive digital systems.

You enjoy working very closely with clients, you’re a talker but communicate meaningfully. You’ve mastered the art of interfacing with clients, proficient at leading meetings and communicating via email or phone.

Conversations about the ‘user experience’ and value to the customer at a conceptual level are taken seriously, but not as seriously as your appreciation for documentation and visualising complex systems into meaningful, holistic diagrams. Expectation management is your middle name and dependency management your contact number.

You want to play a central role in managing development processes and teams and being accountable for the end result. You’re comfortable with an Agile way of working and at ease working closely with UX designers to help validate and inform features, feasibility, and functionality.

You possess above-average time management skills. You have a great personality with a sense of humour. You’re someone who doesn’t take life too seriously but is seriously passionate about the work you produce. You have reliable transport and are happy to travel to town.
