Industries
Broad range.
Deep in six.
We have shipped across a lot of verticals over eighteen years. These are the six where the work has compounded, which for an engineering team means we already know the integrations that are never as documented as they look, the parts of the domain that carry real constraints, and what tends to break once the thing is actually in production.
Six verticals, and what each of them actually asks for.
What depth means
Sector knowledge is not a slide.
Anyone can list industries on a website. What we mean by depth is narrower than that and easier to check, and it is the reason these six are here and the others are not.
We have shipped in it
Not advised on it and not pitched for it. Built something, then run it long enough to see what the second year does to the architecture, which is the only part of a system that tells you the truth.
We know the failure modes
The particular ways software goes wrong in this domain, which are rarely the ways a generalist would predict. Usually it is a constraint nobody wrote down because everyone in the sector already knows it.
We can be useful on day one
No discovery phase spent learning what a settlement window or a formulary is. The vocabulary is already there, so the first conversation can be about the design.
What runs underneath
Six domains, one studio.
The six differ enormously in what they demand and almost not at all in how we build. Every engagement on this page draws on the same four capabilities, which is why depth in a sector adds up over time instead of splitting the team into six smaller ones.

Across the six
One piece of proof from each of them.
Six verticals and six different problems: cloud infrastructure for a telco, an asset manager's platform strategy, orchard planning, clinical data at national scale, a two-product marketplace platform and a precinct's digital estate. The same bench behind all of them.
Karsten Group
Orchard planning, off the spreadsheet
Designing the orchard management system for one of South Africa's largest agricultural exporters - agronomist-led spray and fertilisation programmes planned centrally, pushed out to orchard managers, and adapted as the season turns.
Vantage Health Technologies
An AI health insights platform, zero to live
A zero-to-100 product partnership taking an AI-powered health insights platform from concept to live product, so healthcare organisations can move the metrics that matter most.

Working in one of these?
Then the first conversation can be about the system you are actually trying to build, rather than about what your industry is like.
