Privacy Policy

We are TouchFoundry, and we take your data privacy very, very seriously. We want you to know that we’re not in the business of selling, renting or swapping email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. It’s just not our thing.

This Privacy Policy gives you all the details on when and why we collect your personal info, how we use it, the few occasions that we might disclose it to others, and how we keep it safe.

If you fill in a form on our website, we collect personal information. We use that information: to tell you about what we do at TouchFoundry and some of our projects, to contact you if you’ve asked us to provide you with information, like a cost estimate, and every now and then, to check that you’re happy with our services. We’ll never share this information that you have trusted us with to another party.

When someone visits www.touchfoundry.co.za we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns, like your IP address and which pages you visited on our website. We do this to find out how we can make our website better, and this info is processed in a way which does not identify you directly. We don’t make, and don’t allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of people who visit our website.

We do use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter, which we don’t send out all that often. When we do, we gather stats like how many times our email was opened to help us improve our newsletter. For more info, you can read MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Your personal data belongs to you and you alone. You can view, amend, or delete any personal information of yours that we hold. Email your request to hi@touchfoundry.co.za anytime, and we’ll respond swiftly.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy every now and again, so please check back here regularly. This version was updated in June 2019 and is in line with GDPR requirements.
